Mission
Our mission is to provide culturally appropriate family support services to promote safety, wellness, and economic stability.
Our organization is dedicated to creating a supportive and nurturing environment for all families. We offer services sensitive to cultural differences, ensuring every family feels understood and respected. By focusing on safety, we are committed to preventing domestic violence, child abuse, and neglect. We continue to provide highly skilled work through EV and DR, collaborating with CPS under HSA. We are the only AAPI organization providing vital services in San Francisco.
Our wellness promotion initiatives aim to improve families’ well-being, addressing physical and mental health needs. Our culturally appropriate food program offers nutritional food and preventative health workshops. Additionally, our Behavioral Health program addresses the mental health needs of elementary and middle school students and their families. Our recent development on the Medi-Cal Pilot program will further advance us in serving high school kids.
We also strive to enhance economic stability through our Family Economic Success program, providing resources and support to help families achieve financial security and independence. Through these efforts, we aim to build strong, resilient families that can thrive in a safe and equitable environment.
Our advocacy spans Community Development, Domestic Violence & Child Abuse Prevention, Wellness Promotion, and Economic Security initiatives. Our commitment extends to preventing, intervening, and, if necessary, treating challenges arising from stress, language barriers, financial constraints, and limited resources. We are dedicated to identifying gaps and mobilizing resources to address disparities within our communities.
