This Lantern Festival, we were overjoyed to host a day full of fun, culture, and community! Families joined us in celebrating the Lunar New Year with exciting activities.

Our team came together to welcome the Year of the Snake with joy, laughter, and lots of delicious food! Of course, no celebration is complete without a lucky draw, and the excitement in the room was contagious!

This month, we teamed up with the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) during our monthly training to discuss improving community services and the Community Service Program, where APAFSS proudly participates.

We're excited to share that we hosted a financial literacy workshop at our Visitacion Valley Family Resource Center - Visitacion Valley Strong Families, specifically for our Spanish-speaking clients!

We had a wonderful time at our 2024 Holiday Party for families at Visitacion Valley Strong Families! It was heartwarming to see so many familiar faces join the celebration, bringing joy and cheer to our community.

APA Family Support Services, participated in the Annual Holiday Helping Hand event hosted by Moms Against Poverty (MAP)! Our dedicated team of volunteers, including both adults and teenagers, came together to wrap gifts for children in need.

This year, APA Family Support Services had the joy of hosting another heartwarming Thanksgiving gathering in Chinatown, bringing together our amazing families for a day of fun and connection. The spirit of gratitude filled the air as families engaged in games and activities that brought smiles all around. It was heartwarming to see children excitedly share their Thanksgiving messages and enjoy the festivities.

APA Family Support Services hosted our Live and Love Healthy Day, and it was a huge success! We provided valuable health information on topics such as Domestic Violence Support, Family Support, Mental Health, Nutrition, Parent-Child Bonding, and Community Resources.

In a continued effort to enhance our collaboration with the Victim Services Division (VSD) of the San Francisco District Attorney's Office, APA Family Support Services (APAFSS) participated in the recent "Tea Time" event hosted by the VSD and Community United Against Violence (C.U.A.V.).

We had an incredible time at our Cute & Spooky Halloween event on October 31! Families came out in their best costumes, and it was wonderful to see so many excited kids enjoying the festive atmosphere.
