Ming immigrated to the USA over 30 years ago and lived in San Francisco for 16 years. As an immigrant, she understands the struggle new immigrants could deal with, including the language barriers, cultural differences, and financial stress. She always had hopes to help out others and the community. Ming values bringing forward and sharing kindness and care with others.

Ming has served as the Co-Chair of the APA Family Support Services Volunteer Network since October 2022. In addition, she has been involved in West Valley Chinese Language School as a Board member volunteer for over 6 years. She is a Tax Technology Manager. When Ming is not busy, she enjoys listening to piano music and exercising.
