Celebrating our Remarkable Volunteers

We had the honor of recognizing the outstanding contributions of our APAFSS Volunteer Network members. Since the network's launch in summer 2022, our volunteers have collectively served over 700 man-hours, driven by their unwavering passion for our mission.

We were thrilled to present Certificates of Appreciation to the volunteers who contributed more than 20 hours in 2023. Special thanks to our Volunteer Network Co-chairs Ming Tsoi and Victor Qiu, who have been instrumental in growing and supporting our volunteer program.

We are also incredibly proud of Nathan Cheng, APAFSS's first volunteer to be honored with the Bronze Medal of the President's Volunteer Service Award. Nathan dedicated an impressive 51.5 hours in 2023, 46.5 of which were spent providing invaluable service to our organization.

A big thank you to Vanita Louie, Commissioner for Recreation and Park, for joining us and presenting the President‘s Volunteer Service Award to Nathan.

Volunteers are the backbone of APAFSS, and we are eternally grateful for their tireless efforts. This recognition is a small token of our appreciation for their selfless contributions.
